"I will build my church," declared Jesus, "and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." His cross disarmed the powers of darkness, his resurrection broke the jaws of death, his ascension and exaltation vindicated his triumph. Because he lives, so shall all who confess " Jesus is Lord" and believe in their hearts God raised him from the dead. These are his people, this is the church he is building. We plant, we water.
